I was concerned about this film but I love Kate Hudson and the other actors in this piece of fluff so I gave it a shot. I hated it. Everytime there was a scene where with good writing it could have been hilarious the jokes went flat. I never laughed through the whole film and it was supposed to be a comedy! What a terrible waste of Donald Sutherland and the others. His daughter in the film was so cute and perky but even the jokes about her were lukewarm. I think this might be one of those films where they had so much fun making it that they thought the film was funnier than it was and no one told them the truth...This film stinks!!!!
