This is a good film if you have an addiction to drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. Some of the images in the film are disturbing when they show Danzel Washington snorting coke or whatever they are showing.
This isn't the pristine Washington we are used to seeing in films. Instead he curses, smokes constantly and is dependent on alcohol throughout the film. So he portrays how a talented man can destroy his life by using these drugs throughout his life.
A pretty predictable ending. An interesting film and one I would recommend to anyone who has a problem with substance abuse.
Not a good date film.
Not a "feel good after leaving the theater film" either.
Great acting and an interesting plot.
