What an awesome movie, i saw the movie with no expectations, actually thought it would be another airplane movie but this blew me away. Denzel washington, pilot, hero, and on a downward spiral to self destruction, facing himself and comming to grips of him being an alcoholic and substance abuser. His piloting the plane and saving the passengers was pure instinct and had nothing to do with him being drunk. When you hit rock bottom in life you have to choose your path and face the music and get help. Denzel played his character to the tee and should be oscar worthy.
