Airline pilot goes on all night binge, drinks and does drugs two hours before takeoff...give me a break! Don't the producers know there is unannouced mandatory drug testing required for all crew members in the airlines. An alcoholic and drug abuser like him would have been weeded out long before. Prior to entering the aircraft Captain does a pre-flight of the aircraft in the rain......First Officers do that! On take off why would the Captain fly the airplane through a thunderstorm in the first place. No Air Traffic Controller would send him through such a storm nor would a pilot drive the airplane through one like that, let alone at max speed. From there it gets worse as this hot shot pilot makes up his own procedures on handling the jammed flight control...no way! A totally absurd movie. I still like Danzel and this piece of junk was not his fault.
