It was a good story and view point of one mans struggle. The view of christianity by the director was loud and clear. It was portrayed has a crutch and comical at times. The subtle use of coexist and the over the top radical believers in the hospital seen are two examples. Strong nudity in the begining caught me off guard. Drug use throught movie did help show the struggles of dependancy. Another strong performance by mr. Washington.
