Flight(2012)- User Reviews

First of all, I love Denzel Washington. Secondly, I thought the premise of the movie was one that I wanted to see. The flight sequence was AWESOME!!! Made me think about what really goes on with the crew before, during, and after a flight. You have to have faith in your pilot and crew. With that being said, he is an alcoholic and addicted to cocaine. Two hours of that and I became irritated and annoyed. We get it!! He has a multi-substance abuse problem. This was a LIFETIME movie. Heck, I had a beer just to get through the movie myself. The movie dragged, it was repetitive, and I don't think it developed his character as much as it could have. It could've been at least 30 minutes shorter and we still would have got the same effect. By the end, I felt like going to rehab with him. I would wait for this movie to come to video before I would ever recommend anyone paying to go see it.
