Fire Sale(1977)

Benny Fikus owns a department store that is not doing well. To enact his desperate plan to burn the store down and collect the insurance money, Benny convinces his brother-in-law Zabbar that the place is a stronghold for Nazis in the hope that Zabbar will take matters into his own hands. Other family matters involve Benny's brother Ezra, who coaches a losing basketball team and whose wife wants a child. So Ezra attempts to solve both problems by adopting a teenager who is good at shooting hoops.
