the orginal "fever pitch" that that the Drew Barrymore / jimmy fallon "fever Pitch" along with the "fever Pitch" novel was based on, intsead of the sport being baseball like in the barrymore movie the emphisis is on one man's love for his soccer or "foot-ball" team and his love for his girlfriend, basically the film focuses on him deciding which is more important. pretty good movie overall. based on the novel by the author of "about a boy" and "high Fidelity".
