Escape From Planet Earth(2013)- User Reviews

I have to admit, I didn't go into this movie expecting much. The only reason I took my kids to it was because there really wasn't any other "kids" movie out at the time. That being said, I found the movie enjoyable. And my kids (who are notoriously severely lacking in attention), did not budge the entire movie. The overall storyline was a little lacking, but it had just enough teen/adult humor mixed into the obviously kid directed approach to at least hold interest throughout. I found some of the characters a little odd, the aliens just kind of seemed thrown together without much thought around them other than that the kids would find them cute. Do I view this as a movie I would run out and buy once it is available on DVD, no way, but we did find it enjoyable for a rainy afternoon.
