Escanaba in da Moonlight(2001)- User Reviews

Okay, so this movie is borderline stereotypically degrading to Yoopers (people who live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, or U.P.), and it has its share of ups and downs; but I liked it! About an hour into the movie, I was thinking this movie is really absurd; but the ending kind of kept me grounded. Some parts are a little juvenile, but if you're familiar with the stereotypes trolls (people from the Lower Peninsula, under the bridge) have of Yoopers, you just might be pleasantly surprised!
