Eric leads a haggard group of vikings on a quest to reach Valhalla. Interesting characters and situations make for a good story. Especially funny are John Cleese's character and the Christian missionary who is constantly trying to convert the crew. Tim Robbins puts in a good performance as Eric. Poor old Mickey Rooney sadly seems out of place however. Drags along in some places but overall the film is good.
