End of Watch(2012)- User Reviews

This film had great potential. The acting duo of Gyllenhaal and Pena was great. They did a great job acting but the dialogue was silly. Excessive use of the "F" word distracted from the point of the movie. Too much concentration on making the audience believe these two were close friends. We understood that in the first 15 minutes of the film. The other hour and a half of friendship development was boring. More time should have been spent on developing the story involving the gang members and the Cartel. Also, I grew up around gangs and I've been a soldier in combat. I don't know anyone who swears as much or uses the "F" word as both an adjective, adverb, verb, noun, pronoun, and subject of every sentence of their daily conversations.
