When dancer Don Hewes' partner ditches him for the Ziegfeld Follies, he picks a random chorus girl and vows to turn her into a star. He succeeds a little too well and finds himself in a love triangle of his own making. With wonderful music and some of the greatest dancing ever caught on film.
