A US doctor named Pintor,working in a poor eastern europe country is thought to be a spy named John Charter by the locals and he must run to avoid them. The local soviet smuggling cartel doesnt take lightly to his consatant disappearences and each time he gets away the punishment is that more severe. The movie plays out like one big hide n seek scenario and its totally suspenseful and absorbing as it is eerie.
