Don't Be Afraid of the Dark(2011)- User Reviews

Too many creatures, made them seem more like rats than ancient malevolent beings. They were too gray, not enough black and scary like evil would be.
Not enough characterization, not enough plot. No setup to make you care about anyone. Silly that Kim and daddy weren't married.
The best thing I can say about the movie is that the house was gorgeous and the young child actor's performance was spectacular.
