The best thing i can say about this movie is that it was "mildly entertaining." I do like westerns and historical movies. A friend dragged me to see this movie and I really did not want to attend. First, it was way too violent for me. Graphic violence seems to be the order of the day for Tarantino. I expected body parts, multilation and thats what I got. Second, it's obvious that Tarantino hates the south. All the blacks in the movie are portrayed as decent people (except one) and all the white people (except one) are portrayed as evil. (stupid and ignorant).Third, the movie is totally inaccurate. Greenville Miss was never a slave trading capitol of the south. And chickasaw county Miss is in the hills, no plantations there. I can't believe this movie was nominated for an academy award. What a piece of #$%$. A complete waste of my time.
