This movie has something for everybody. It is a love story and an action flick. It is a comedy with blood and guts galore.
I didn't think it was possible to make a film about slavery and have it also be a comedy without trivializing the horriblle plight of the slaves; but Tarantino pulls it off.
This film has the feel of the great spaghetti westerns made by Sergio Leone. Spike Lee was wrong about this movie; and I like Spike. Hey Spike; make a good movie.
There are lots of N-bombs! I stopped counting after 5; but the use of the word is appropriate for the time because that is how people actually spoke back then. That is also how a lot of people talk now when there are no black people around.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the movie is not historically accurate with Jamie Foxx wearing sunglasses and the KKK having not been formed at the time of the movie; but it doesn't bill itself as a history piece. It is a movie, an instant classic and my new favorite movie of all time.
