Since I enjoyed the movie with a mostly black audience, just outside Atlanta, I was a little uncomfortable with the racially biased language used in the film. I assume that this was the way it was in those dark days of slavery and was relieved when the audience did not hold me responsible for the sins of my ancestors. The violence was way overdone and not that all believable. The story line was very good and the acting even better.
I came away from the film thinking if Django (the D is silent) had an assault weapon of today's caliber then I think Slavery would have lasted way less than 100 years.
