I thought this would be a slow moving boring movie that focused primarily on slavery. TBeing an African American I still wanted to see it. This movie was full of action and while I knew Jamie would be a slave in the movie, I was amazed to see what a renogade …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Not what I expected, but turned out to be the best movie I have seen in a while. I am a Samuel L. Jackson fan and he and Jamie Foxx were amazing in this movie. The N word was used alot but I agree with another reviewer, it is just a word. The blood …more»3 of 3 people found this review helpful-

This is the best Tarantino movie to date. I could care less about the N____word. OMG it's a word and I wish people would stop giving that word so much power. In true Tarantino fashion the movie is filled with twist & turns and more gore & blood than …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I went to see this movie yesterday and it was a really good movie. I was kind of hesitant due to the trailer. However, I do not recommend this movie for anyone who has a weak stomach for bloody scenes. (That is why I am rating it 4 stars) It is very long …more»3 of 3 people found this review helpful-

This was one of the best movies in 2012....I totally enjoyed it. Jamie Foxx and Samuel L Jackson were awesome. The story was real and it did not rewrite history........Although I do not like the use of the "N" word. I feel it was necessary …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Me being an actress myself I just wondered the entire movie how much stage blood went into this movie. The special …more»2 of 2 people found this review helpful-

Like everyone says, this movie will make you feel uncomfortable at times with the excessive "N" word and the violence. That is the point though. If you cannot handle it then don't go and complain about it later being forewarned. The film …more»3 of 3 people found this review helpful-

My husband and I saw this together. Great Love story!! Jami Foxx was awesome. This dude is the truth. I really think there is no role he can do. He was very believable. Waltz is refreshing because he brings out our personal convictions. Suprisingly …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

When I first saw trailers I was not sold on the premise of a slavery movie. In Tarantino style the movie quickly turned into a revenge plot shortly after Django was a free man.
The movie was a bit long, but like other movies in 2012 I did not fall asleep. …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

Is this the same Quentin Tarantino that wrote and directed Pulp Fiction? How far the mighty have fallen. Did he write this in high school? One story line with stereotypical characters. The only true Tarantino part was the argument about the hooded …more»3 of 10 people found this review helpful
