Melissa Manchester's amazing music was a soundtrack for my life as the closeted gay son of a preacher in the late 70s and early 80s. It turns out her music helped a lot of us, and one of them, Abe Silvia, has made a fantastic movie in Dirty Girl. It is wonderfully acted by a first-rate cast and is a wonderful story-funny. poignant and balanced. Nothing feels forced. Great job ALL!
