I loved this film. I cared for the characters, the story was presented beautifully, and the chemistry between the cast members was electric. I find Juno Temple to be a great actress, and she owns every film she's in.
It was cheesy, in bad style with silly humor reaching to a fault, but that's why we love movies like "Grease" in the first place! Yes, a little anachronistic - I think they mixed 1987 with 1977 - but I didn't mind that much.
Overall, I thought this was a fair effort with maximum results. A coming-of-age comedy of sorts that explores friendship and self-discovery. I loved how the flour-bag-baby's expression changed according to its "emotions" - that was a cute and funny add. For an amateurish road flick, I think it accomplished what it set out to do.
