The grandmother of the film maker died in the age of 98. Shortly thereafter, the family gets together to clean up the apartment where she had lived for about 70 years. The apartment is filled with old documents which only seem to be a burden for the descendants. However, while the contents of the apartment disappear more and more, the documents reveal an amazing story about the friendship between grandfather Kurt Tuchler, a Zionist and Jewish lawyer, and a commander of the Third Reich, Baron Leopold von Mildenstein. Together, the Zionist and the Nazi travel to Palestine in order to find a solution. An exploration of the past and the present, of repression and truth.
