Die Hard 2: Die Harder(1990)- User Reviews

Die Hard 2 is probably my least favorite of the Die Hard series and it seems that a lot of people also agree, mainly because of the plot. It's the same scenarios happening again (terrorists taking a building hostage, McClane goes through an elevator shaft, his wife is in danger). Which is kind of odd why some sequels do this and suffer from it (Karate Kid Part III). I think Vengeance and Live Free are better because of more original plots, awesome villains (ex. Simon Gruber), and that they just seem more interesting. So, in conclusion, I don't hate Die Hard 2, I just wish it had a much better story to it. The highlight was McClane blowing the enemy plane up to create a landing trail for his wife. So I give it a 7 out of 10.
