Diary of a Wimpy Kid(2010)- User Reviews

This movie may not be as funny as it should be at times, but this whole genre is tough to like, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a rare example of a kids' movie that won't have grown ups checking their watches. It's nimble, bright, often hilarious, and it doesn't wear down. The story is peppered with an uplifting message about friendship, the acting is solidly executed, and the comedy will have middle schoolers and some grown ups cracking up with laughter. I liked this movie better than I expected.
