My friends and I were blown away with this fantastic movie! I think you have to bring your history- not a movie for teens or early adults who have no idea of love and loss. The concept worked superbly, the music flowed as one would imagine Cole's …more»51 of 61 people found this review helpful-

My generation knows nothing about Cole Porter …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

The film is ok. Not very original when it comes to tell the story of someone's life and add a bunch of songs in the process, but the story is interesting. Cole Porter had an interesting life. Kevin Kline and Ashley Judd can't sing to save their …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

This is a complex, subtle and satisfying adult love story. Set as a musical biography of composer Cole Porter, it explores the complexities of love on the edges. This is not a simple boy meets girl, have problems, split, and find each other again, hack …more»1 of 2 people found this review helpful-

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this movie. I actually ended up watching it four times as a rental over the long rainy holiday weekend. I was captivated by Kevin Kline's performance (Ashly Judd was good too), the phenomenal music (though I thought …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-
