The story, in my opinion, was okay, but the ending was terrible. I would recommend to wait till it comes out on DVD, but if you have the extra cash, it's a pretty good scary movie.
I will say that it isn't the scariest but has a few jumps. I actually missed the first 30 minutes due to a miscommunication of the theater staff. Therefore, I can't speak for that part of the movie, but the story is fairly easy to catch on.
On a scale of rent it, buy it, pass, I say rent it.
