Dark Shadows(2012)- User Reviews

I would suspect that Depp thought that he could make this work because of his huge success with Edward Scissorhands. I mean, there are similarities with the dark, yet good-natured complexity of both characters. However, the story line, for this film, just wan't there. It was long and drawn out and some of the parts of the story just don't make any sense or have any value to the story line. The only real uptick of the film is that there is good acting in it, with solid selection of beautiful women, and that the overall film was beautifully created by Tim Burton. I can't say that I would recommend this movie.
