I really wanted to like this movie. Saw the preview, and thought it would be a funny movie to watch. Wrong! Took the wife for Mother's Day treat and if it wasn't for the redeeming fancy dinner afterwards at her favorite restaurant, I probably would be sleeping at the doghouse tonight! The movie is not funny. It's a wanna be dark comedy. There were scenes that didn't make sense and seeemd like they put them in there just to kill the time. It was too long. There were some adult scenes and I was sitting next to a 12 year old girl who shouldn't have been there. He's not Jack Sparrow in this movie! Not a movie for kids. Had I rented it from Red Box for $1.20, I probably would've complained less. But no way is this movie worth the $12 ticket price!
