We all know what to expect from a Burton film and this was not any exception. Exactly as anticipated. There were admittedly a few slow points to the film, but I ultimately left feeling satisfied for my ticket price.
I had heard some poor commentary about Helena Bonham Carter's performance - I have to say that I thought she was utterly delightful.
If you are expecting a film that will make you roll on the floor laughing, or cower in fear, this is not the film for you. However, if you are a fan of the trio of Burton, Depp, and Bonham Carter, you will not be disappointed.
