Dark Shadows(2012)- User Reviews

Well, what can you say about Johnny Depp, the man has the uncanny ability to become the character he undertakes..while his take on Barnabus Collins was whacky, I find that I didn't dislike it. That it was a dark comedy and not the seriious gothic story it orginated from was obvious from the previews..That's okay...If you don't know about the Gothic Soap don't worry, this can stand on it's own...The dramady was good and Johnny did his best with the script that he had...At least the dysfunctional family theme was kept in and that worked too in a wierd sort of way....see it for the fun of it and because ur a Johnny Depp fan and don't go in with great expectations of it being other than the campy dark comedy that is was intended to be.
