Dark Blue(2003)- User Reviews

I had low expectations as this story has been done many times and Kurt's not exactly getting the best scripts these days. However, Russell is convincing as the maverick cop who is part of an elite unit (SIS) in the city of LA. The squad is corrupt and uses whatever means necessary (murder, intimidation, bribery, etc.) to get what they want. Brendan Gleeson also plays the self serving ring leader well. Russell's acting alone makes this film worth watching.
