Do you like Tracy Morgan's comedy? I watched this movie and discovered I do not care for Tracy Morgan's comedy starting with an early scene in which he does a police interrogation as a collage of scenes from various movies. He was OK on Saturday Night Live but this movie has too much of his over the top clowning around. It is hard to believe that the Bruce Willis' character stayed partners with Tracy Morgan's character for nine years. The story is weak. The baseball card scenes, when considered together, are too farfetched. This last remark surprises me because I bought into the plots of all the "Die Hard" movies and enjoyed them. I also bought into the plot of the movie "Red" and loved it.
I cannot believe I sat through this entire movie. My last disappointment occurred while watching the closing credits and discovering that the movie was directed by Kevin Smith. I like much of his work which includes some weird over the top comedy scenes. I wish he had exercised more control over this movie.
Unless you are a fan of Tracy Morgan’s comedy, don’t spend your time and money on this movie!
