Sultry, fire-haired Russian actress Natalya Rudakova shot from obscurity to fame in a single instant, when the young woman -- then working at a hair salon in Manhattan -- caught the eye of French filmmaking legend Luc Besson on the street. In need of a new femme fatale for their #92;sci-fi #92;action thriller Transporter 3, Besson and co. recruited Rudakova on the spot, subjected her to six months of disciplined acting lessons, and gave her a screen test vis-à-vis some seasoned professionals.
