Performer Martha Higareda launched her screen career with a series of roles in Mexican productions, including Amar te Duele (2002), Las Calles del D.F. (2006), and Asà del Precipicio (2006). Higareda broke through to international acclaim with several plum assignments that cropped up within a three-year span.
