Born in Three Hills, Alberta, Erica Durance is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada who first made an impression on television viewers by following in the footsteps of actress Margot Kidder with her portrayal of intrepid "Daily Planet" reporter Lois Lane on the popular Superman series Smallville.
