Wilfrid Brambell


Character player often cast as a crotchety old man. Bramble is best known as Paul's mischevious uncle in the Beatles romp "A Hard Day's Night" (1964) and as the elder title character of "Steptoe and Son," the British TV series that spawned America's "Sanford and Son."
