Heather McComb

By the age of 21, Heather McComb had already amassed a resume that many of her peers would envy. A child actor who successfully made the transition to more adult roles, the attractive New Jersey native began her career at age two appearing in a TV commercial for Publisher's Clearing House. Other advertisements and the occasional TV role (i.e., "Fame") followed. A pre-teen McComb made an auspicious film debut as the title character in the Francis Ford Coppola-directed "Life With Zoe" segment of "New York Stories" (1989). Shortly thereafter, she and her family moved to California, where the youngster landed her first TV series role as Scout, one of the girls who hangs with "The Outsiders" in that short-lived 1990 Fox drama. (Her older sister Jennifer was also featured on the series). Numerous other guest appearances followed interspersed with the occasional film role (such as playing the daughter of John Ritter and Pam Dawber in the cultish "Stay Tuned" 1992 or a heroin-addicted prostitute in "God's Lonely Man" 1996). A 1996 appearance as the daughter of Robert Davi's FBI agent on NBC's "Profiler" led to a regular role during the 1997-98 season. McComb segued to the recurring role of Maggie, the college roommate who loses her boyfriend to Julia Salinger (Neve Campbell) on Fox's "Party of Five".
