Also billed as Robert F. Hill, Bob Hill was one of the busiest directors in the field of 1930s "quickies." Most frequently employed by producer Sam Katzman, Hill helmed such rapidly-assembled programmers as Two Minutes to Play (1935), which served as a showcase for Olympic athlete Herman Brix (aka Bruce Bennett).
