Dorothy Arnold


A nightclub dancer, blond Dorothy Arnold (born Olson) enjoyed a brief stint with Universal in the late '30s -- notably as the imperiled heroine of Bela Lugosi's 1939 serial The Phantom Creeps and as the undercover chorus girl in the whodunit House of Fear (1939) -- before retiring to become the first wife of baseball great Joe DiMaggio.
