Rosa von Praunheim

One of the more eccentric figures to emerge from the New German Cinema movement, Rosa von Praunheim (ne Holger Mischwitski) studied painting in Berlin before apprenticing with openly gay filmmakers Gregory J. Markopoulos and Werner Schroeter.
