Marguerite Duras

An influential novelist, Duras has had several of her works brought to the screen, notably "This Angry Age" (1957), directed by Rene Clement, "10:30 P.M. Summer" (1966), directed by Jules Dassin, "The Sailor from Gibraltar" (1967), directed by Tony Richardson and "The Lover" (1992), directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud.
