Angela Clarke


American stage actress Angela Clarke entered films in 1949. Though only in her early 40s, Angela cornered the market in grey-haired matriarch roles, usually with accompanying ethnic accent. One of her best-remembered parts in this capacity was Harry Houdini's Jewish mama Mrs. Weiss in Houdini (1953).
