Husky, curly-haired actor, a prolific no-nonsense performer who has offered his talents to thirty or so features, ranging from B-action pics like "Vice Squad" (1982), to numerous straight-to-video flicks like "Wilding" (1991), to a few classier, well-intended outings such as "A Soldier's Story" (1984). On TV, the amiable-looking Hauser has played one of the many incarnations of Greg Foster on the daytime soap "The Young and the Restless" and was a regular player, as Lieutenant Colonel Miller, on "China Beach" (1990). In between his copious film acting chores, Hauser also appeared as cool dad Ty Tillman on a season of "Roseanne". He has also directed a few films, including "Coldfire" (1990) and "The Art of Dying" (1992).
