Hector Olivera

Argentina-born director Hector Olivera is best known for his international exploitation films, which go back to the Argentina-made Psexoanalysis (1967). By the early '80s, he was working to a broader audience with titles such as Buenos Aires Rock '82, and two years later he moved into joint U.S.-Argentine financed pictures such as Wizards of the Lost Kingdom, Barbarian Women (1985), Two to Tango (1989), and Play Murder for Me (1991). ~ Bruce Eder, All Movie Guide
