Pert teen idol of the 1950s and busty leading lady of lightweight beach movies of the 60s. Funicello came to national prominence as an original member of "The Mickey Mouse Club" (1955-57). Perky Annette was one of the more popular of the dozen or so children on the series and one of the few to go on to any substantial career in movies, TV, and recordings.
