Gabriele Ferzetti


Suave Italian leading man, in films since the 1940s first as romantic characters who came to prominence as the failed architect and indecisive lover in Antonioni's "L'avventura" (1959) and has since appeared in "The Bible" (1966), "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969) and Costa-Gavras's "The Confession" (1970) as well as numerous international co-productions often as weak and corrupt men or conscience-stricken gangsters.
