Stuart Rosenberg

A prolific director of 1950s TV series such as "The Untouchables" and "Naked City" who turned to features in the early 60s, Rosenberg distinguished himself with "Cool Hand Luke" (1967), a tightly-wound prison drama starring Paul Newman.
