John Hough

Assisting in British films in the early '60s, Hough began directing television, with The Avengers among his credits. He returned to films as a director in 1971, and won admirers in American films of the '70s: the horror tale The Legend of Hell House, the actioner Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, and the Disney fantasies Escape to Witch Mountain and Return from Witch Mountain.
