John Anderson

A prolific, versatile, light-haired character actor, Anderson amassed feature credits including "Psycho" (1960, as the smarmy car salesman), Ossie Davis' "Cotton Comes to Harlem" (1970) and John Sayles' "Eight Men Out" (1988). His TV credits include over 500 roles, most notably among them a recurring role on "Dallas"; the short lived spin-off "Baby Boom"; and, as the title character's father, "MacGyver".
