Peter Collinson


Collinson worked in theater and on television commercials before helming his first feature in 1967, the thriller The Penthouse, which he also scripted. Collinson went on to do some of his best work in the late '60s: Up the Junction, the World War II drama The Long Day's Dying, and the caper spoof The Italian Job.
